Our premium Chestnut Trees are grown from seeds of the best and most viable trees in the country. They produce some of the largest and best tasting chestnuts available in the market, as well as the most viable and blight resistant trees in the area. With over 20 varieties of proven genetics, our trees are by far among the highest quality in the United States.
2 trees are required for pollination to ensure optimal chestnut production. Prefers moderately acidic soil that is well drained. Full sun is optimal for growth, and tolerant of hot and humid summer seasons. A favorite for all wildlife including deer, squirrels, and turkey.
Trees are expected to be at least 4 ft in height at time of pick-up in September.
